The role was advertised as remote in the UK even if their HQ is in Australia. After applying, I received an interview request and the email redirected me to the recruiter's webpage to book a slot. All slots available were at Australian time zone which made it impossible for me to book anything. I then replied to the email to see if perhaps the recruiter could accommodate a different time but he never replied. Around a month later, I received an email to inform me that the role has now been filled. Well, I don't understand the point of letting me know when I wasn't even given a fair shot to interview. Very poor experience overall, don't advertise a job for the UK if you are unable to accommodate interview slots that are not at 2 or 3am for the candidate.
