I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Empower (Overland Park, KS) in Dec 2015
Interview
Got the interview through an employee referral. Was contacted by the HR Representative within a few days. Very basic questions: how did you hear about us, what are looking for in your career search, etc.? Since the job requisition was not posted, I was called in for a preliminary interview and was told I would be contacted once the posting was officially on the website so I could submit a formal application. The interview was conducted by the direct manager, sales manager, and the department VP that I would be working directly under. The three managers were very easy to talk to and was by-far the least "intimidating" interview I have ever been on in regards to a corporate environment. Basic outline of an interview: run through your resume, why this is a good fit for what you are looking for, how does your experiences and strengths relate to the job role. Outside of that, they made the interview more conversational rather than an "tell me about a time". It is for a sales position so they are more involved with how you can carry on a conversation and build a relationship rather than trying to relate past work/education experience directly to the job responsibilities.

Question 1
What do you think are the 3 most important traits/aspects of sales?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Empower (Dallas, TX)
Interview
The interview process consisted of a recruiter call and a Teams video call with 2 managers. They had the same basic questions you find in any interview and then a couple more specific to the role. Plenty of openings to ask your own questions.
