Stay away from this company if you don't want to deal with a horrendous interview process!! After 2 rounds of interviews and tasks to be completed, I was told I'd be given an update in about a week. A week turned into two, then into three, and eventually 27 days had passed with no update on the team's end whatsoever. I had to follow up on my end AGAIN after 27 days of complete silence, only to be given a very generic 'apologies for the delay' message. Even though the company knew I needed a visa sponsorship which takes anywhere between 4-6 weeks to be granted, I was told after 27 days of waiting that they went with another candidate because they were immediately available. If the company needed someone immediately they should have let me know from the beginning before wasting my time with multiple rounds of interviews and tasks to be completed. I was then told about a second role available that I was being considered for and was told that they'd have more information to share with me in a week. 30 days have now passed since that last message, and again it's dead silence from the team and zero accountability whatsoever regarding their poor hiring practices. Ghosting candidates in this job market is extremely poor behaviour and really reflects on the values of the company. I won't recommend wasting your time with them, as they clearly need to fix their internal hiring processes first before wasting candidates's time. EmpowerRD should be ashamed of themselves for their poor hiring practices and ghosting people in 2026.
