I applied online. I interviewed at English 1 (Brighton, England) in Oct 2021
Interview
Typical interview process that progressed through the usual introductory questions to some scenario-based questions. Practical concerns, regarding my availability and willingness to relocate seemed to be the priority. Lots of noise at the interviewer's end - sounded kind of chaotic. I was qualified for the job and generally interview well but I think I asked a few too many questions about the workload (specifically teaching hours vs planning hours).

Question 1
I was asked at least once about how flexible I could be in the event that I needed to cover a class.
Phone interview lasted 45 minutes. Almost none of the questions were related to teaching. Instead, the interviewer asked questions to assess how I react under pressure and conflict resolution. It was challenging but interesting.

Question 1
Can you think of a situation in your current job where you made a mistake? How would you have handled it differently?
