      Front End Engineer Interview

      16 Jul 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Enthusiast Gaming in Jun 2023

      Interview

Probably one of the worst interview experiences I have had. At first, they sent me an e-mail wanting to schedule a call with me. I sent them the times I was available and it took them almost 10 days to respond. They told me some things with HR were being shuffled around so that's why they didn't respond. Some communication about that earlier on would have been nice! After I finally scheduled the call with a different person she completely ghosted me at the time she was supposed to call. I e-mailed her asking why she didn't show up and she said she just didn't see the email I sent confirming the time... Once we were finally able to call, the lady sounded super uninterested, the call felt really rushed and she told me the call wasn't an interview but then told me that they would e-mail me weather or not they decide to move forward with me (doesn't that make it an interview?) Anyways, never heard from them again, even though they said they would get back to me soon. Not even a curtesy e-mail to tell me that they decided to go with someone else. Super unprofessional, and a solid red flag. Don't waste your time.
