      Interview

Applied online. Received a phone screen interview three weeks later. Completed a writing test after phone screen. The process took 6 months with no update. Talent acquisition was unhelpful throughout the entire process. Complete waste of time.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Envision Pharma (London, England) in Mar 2022

      Interview

Initially approached via LinkedIn to apply for the position and after a chat with the recruiter to discuss my experience was progressed to next stage. Second stage was ~1 hour Teams meeting with two senior members of the team. Received positive feedback, good fit for the team and progressed to the next stage. Invested a considerable amount of time preparing a written summary of a clinical trial and a slide deck comparing to different studies. Feedback was slow and not detailed, but still positive. Talent acquisition rang to say they will thought I was a great fit and the team were pleased with the writing assignment. Then we discussed compensation. Despite the fact that my salary expectations were within the bracket mentioned at the very beginning by the recruiter I was informed that this was too high - their offer was 20% below the lower end of the range initially provided. Reasoning for this was that I was actually being offered Associate Director, despite receiving nothing but positive feedback during the process. I declined the offer and was told they didn’t want to lose me as a candidate yet never heard from them again. Poor communication throughout the process and offered salary below market value. Frustrating experience and wouldn’t interview there again in the future.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Envision Pharma (Stirling, NJ) in Feb 2017

      Interview

It's a busy environment. People pop in and out. The first panel questioned why I want to move into a supportive role. They said usually people go the other direction because there's more work/life balance. I was shocked because in my industry the average hrs/week is 60-70. They continued to ask me how I feel about detailed in "the weeds" work. That has been the crux of my job. I realized quickly that they did not know their customer well. They also asked if I was able to understand the data I was given for my writing assessment. Again shocked how out of touch they were. I was told by HR they wanted to move me forward and sent me a summary of their benefits. I decided to decline. One of the VPs actually responded with an email "looks like we dodged a bullet." It was not intended for me. She did apologize. But honestly if I was such a "bullet" why were they moving me forward? I'm happy I chose to decline & do not plan to do any future business with them.
