      Senior QA Automation Engineer Interview

      30 Nov 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Equals True in Nov 2022

      Interview

Equals true seems to be a pretty standard outsourcing company so expect the process to follow the normal flow. First, some interviews with them and then with the client. Most of the interviews were scheduled by the client and there was a lack of communication between the company and them (at least that's what I can tell) The entire process took around 2 months because the client wasn't communicating effectively with them. After 5 rounds of interviews aprox I got what seemed to be a preoffer which was withdrawn because of my physical location (even though they asked my country of residence several times and the job was offered as remote-anywhere). The client never send me a rejection letter whatsoever and the company seemed to be unnaware of what was going on. At the end the company expressed their apologies but I already spent many hours preparing for the interviews. From my point of view this could have been easily avoided if the mandatory requirements were clear but again, lack of communication between them and the client.
