I applied online. I interviewed at Eque (Singapore) in Jan 2026
Interview
First Round:
Arranged Interview by EQUE for MS Teams Interview with one of the staff/Financial Advisor. Not interview by the Hiring Manager.
Most questions related more towards Financial Advisor role instead of Business Administration role.
Being redirected to have interest in Financial Advisor role.
Second Round:
Been selected for secound round face to face interview that mentioned sales department but not the role as Financial Advisor. Went to interview at the office where the Hiring Manager is the Manager for Financial Advisor (FA) and only interview based on FA role which the company heavily needed instead of Business Administration role.
*As Personal Experience, it is more of a camouflage job posting that divert candidate from Business Administration role to Financial Advisor role.
It feel like a spam and scam. Kept looping you to zoom google interviews. Who doing 4 rounds of interviews for a HR admin role ? On 2nd round I felt strange and I withdrawn. Then weeks later they continued spamming message to invite me for an interview. Be careful !
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Eque (Singapore) in Apr 2025
Interview
I applied for a "Content Creator" role via an EQUE job post that lacked company details. I was contacted via WhatsApp within a day, and the interview was scheduled quickly. The confirmation email listed a different company name (e.g., "Jason Ong Organisation"), and I couldn't find any information online.
During the interview, after briefly discussing my experience, the focus shifted to pushing a sales role with promises of commissions and status. When I asked about the company, my questions were dismissed and deferred to the next round.
Later, I found similar complaints on Google Reviews. EQUE listings appear to bait applicants into financial advisory roles, often tied to Prudential. It was a misleading and suspicious experience, and I strongly advise against engaging with them.
