I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Equinox (Long Beach, CA) in Jan 2019
Interview
Very clear and concise interview. No frills or fluff, the manager tells you exactly what to expect and what is expected of you if chosen to be hired. The staff was very welcoming, facility is clean and kept up very nicely. Plus gym membership is a plus

Question 1
What would you bring to the shop as a member to help bring in more revenue?
Short, lasted no more than 15 min. I was interviewed by the general manager and retail supervisor. Only asked me two questions, none related to the job itself. They said they would get back to me but never did despite a referral.

Question 1
1. Can you tell us about your previous experience in a customer-facing role? 2. How familiar are you with the fitness industry and Equinox's offerings? 3. How do you approach building relationships with potential customers?
Phone interview with recruiter, followed by 3 in person interviews with district manager, store location manager, etc. - the process was pretty lengthy for what is basically a minimum wage retail job.
