      Marketing Coordinator Interview

      Application

I interviewed at Equity Union (Westlake Village, CA)

      Interview

After submitting my resume I was invited to participate in a 15 minute “meet and greet” interview with the head of marketing. He explained that this interview was mostly to get to know people, but his only questions to me were “what is your experience” and “on a scale from one to ten how confident are you with indesign” and then asked me twice if I had any questions for him, to which he did not sound excited to answer the questions I asked. Wrapping up the 15 minute call, he said I would hear from someone shortly about next steps. I didn’t hear from anyone. I sent a follow up email a week later to be met with nothing. I would have loved to have a conversation about how I would be a good fit for the role but was met with what felt like a “vibe check” with someone who didn’t care to be on the call/was bored.
