I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Ericsson (Gothenburg, Västra Götaland) in Sept 2022
Interview
Very demanding interview for very not-demanding people.
The first two steps were testing my technical skills. That's it... not an introduction, no greetings. I asked for an interview before testing my skills to make sure I will not waste 3:30 hours in case Ericsson cannot match my expectations and the Ericsson's internal recruiter straight up lied to me that there will be an introduction before testing my skills .
The final process was the following:
- Solve 3 algorythms in online platform (2:30 hours)
- Technical interview and live coding (1 hour)
- Introduction to the company (finaly!) and offer of the role! They also requested to bring 3 referrals from previous managers of 3 different companies (for real...)
I wrote 100% accuracy and performance just to get a 'We can match your current salary' response!! My current salary is 20% lower than the market! I asked them if they can double that! Where is all of their confidence went as soon as I proved my skills?!
If they are going to be the most demanding company, they also need to offer equal or more than the rest of the market and not waste people's time.

The interview was not very technical. it asked about everything on the resume and it was just a conversation. He even asked whether I had a girlfriend and my hobbies and so on.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ericsson (Budapest)
Interview
First, you have to do a bunch of online tests.
Multiple choice technical tests, coding test (if relevant), personality tests.
Then you either interview for the position you applied to, or you are thrown in a "pool interview" where multiple managers are interviewing you for multiple positions at the same time.
After the pool interview, I received an offer from one of the managers involved.

Question 1
It was a while ago, but they asked the usual stuff, like what technologies I had worked with, what responsibilities I had at my current position, and what I was looking for in a job.
