I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Esri (Redlands, CA) in Sept 2013
Interview
Started with on-campus interview, and received 2 phone interviews, and then one on-site (8 hours) interview. First on-campus interview is held by HR people, will ask some general question such as briefly self-introduction, interests, strength and weakness... And both phone interviews are from the departments with those openings. Will be more focus on the skills or experiences on your resume. Last on-site interview is given by managers, senior workers and the questions varied.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Esri
Interview
Extremely laborious and protracted interview process. Had an initial 30 minute interview, followed by a more intensive 1 hour interview, followed by a full day of 4 one hour interviews.

Question 1
Why do you think you’re the best candidate for this job?
I advanced through three interview stages, including an on-site with expenses covered, but was ultimately rejected with vague feedback. The position was reopened during my interviews and has remained open since.
2 video interviews and one full day interview.
Had to email the manager to REMIND him of my interview.
3 people didn't show up the full day interview leaving me hours alone to do nothing in between interviews.
Asked me several questions not related to the position.
