      Perl Developer (QA) Interview

      17 Dec 2014
      Anonymous employee
      San Diego, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Eventful (San Diego, CA) in Nov 2010

      Interview

You are asked a few technical questions, then you are given a few minutes to figure out some code. If you have never done code before, you'll have a tough time. If you're comfortable with coding standards it should be quite simple. The language that they had me working on include perl, python, and some custom code, but there might be something new involved in their recent interviews.

      Question 1

How do you reset a server cluster without any downtime.
