Was referred by an external recruiter then I had a 30 mins video interview with the regional manager and a 1h15 mins on-site interview. I felt everything went great with A LOT OF questions. In the end of interview, the manager shared with me his phone number and a contact number for another representative in this area to talk about more of this job. The regional manager even told me he’d try to schedule another interview with his manager next week or the week after when he’s in town. Guess what?
The regional manager ghosted on me completely!! I called him and left a voicemail after I spoke with the other sales representative and wanted to ask about an update for the following interview. No call back or answer. A few days I wrote an email just to express that I am still interested in this position and wish to continue to proceed? Maybe an update for me ? NO REPLIES OR NOTHING.
I never knew what happened. And it’s been over a month I never even got a rejection email from the HR(I applied on their website). The whole hiring process just vanished like nothing ever happened.
Very unprofessional and disrespectful after all the time and efforts I have spent for this company. All you needed to do was to spend 1 min in writing an email to say you have pursued other candidates or I wasn’t selected for the further steps…
