Initial phone screen followed by an interview with the hiring manager. The salary expectations were lower than I wanted, but the initial screener still felt it would be prudent to speak with the hiring manager via video conference. The hiring manager was a poor reflection of the company: (i) was 10 minutes late to the interview I had to schedule during a very busy day; (ii) kept stopping the interview to deal with personal issues happening in the person's home; (iii) because of this, the person ran over the time allotted for our interview by about 15-20 minutes; (iv) despite going over (which made me miss a meeting at my current job), again put me on hold to deal with personal issues; (v) the hiring manager came back and looked visibly angry that I had the "audacity" to be checking my phone for work emails while the person put me on "hold" to do whatever. The lack of respect for a person's time was alarming, especially from a so-called "leader" of this company. I never followed up and happily received a rejection email a few days later.
