Key Notes: The audit team is divided up between 2-3 silo groups that works in an agile/scrum way. The majority of the team sits in California, so expect to work on PST time. The audit group is not working on any exciting initiatives or special projects, so to my understanding the work is repetitive & mundane. As far as the leadership team, they seemed overwhelmed, basic, and calculating.
While the job posting highlights all of the "traditional" audit skills needed for the job, this group is specifically looking for a person to be a CFPB regulation & data analytics expert (which is a 1 in a million chance someone has this skillset). Hence why the job will be a recurring posting until they find the "perfect person". Do not expect them to offer proper training, certs, special job perks, etc. Millennials take note of this "work hard & fast" speech the Gen X audit leadership here gives. They expect more than they're willing to give, like the Boomers.
