It was a very standard retail interview. There isn't anything specific to note. Easy, comfortable, simple. Standard preparation is recommended. I love the Express brand, and have for many years, so it was easy for me to use that as a talking point.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Express (Bloomington, IN) in Oct 2015
Interview
I was interviewed with another girl for the same position; we both sat down in the back office after getting a short tour of the store/storage room. The regional manager (interim) asked us about our availability, stating that it was necessary for hire to be able to work during Black Friday. The other interviewee laughed and said that she guessed she was out of the running, so it turned out to be a less-formal, comfortable interview.
