We are sorry you didn’t have a positive interview experience with Express Solicitors. We pride ourselves on giving candidates adequate time to prepare for the interview. The Video Interview stage gives candidates three days to complete in their own time, and our Partner stage is arranged four to five days in advance of the agreed date and time, with an MS Teams link sent out confirming the same.
We understand that not receiving feedback can be frustrating for candidates. However, due to the number of interviews we undertake firm-wide, it is a company policy. However once a person is hired, they get 3 annual appraisals to talk about progress and development towards a Training Contract. Weekly supervision reviews and monthly summary emails – feedback is built in comprehensively to assist our Litigation Assistant community to thrive.
The salary that we offer goes through review yearly and last updated in April 2024. We are confident the offering is a fair and competitive salary.
Regarding the interview questions, our interview questions are given a strength-based focus. They are asked in situational judgement questions, giving candidates a scenario to answer and allowing them to demonstrate their skills and abilities to us. We also provide a Case study designed to help them demonstrate their legal capabilities.
