I contacted a recruiter about a position posted on his website. He contacted the company, who requested I come in for an interview. The interview was held at Extron's building in Raleigh. I was asked to fill out a standard form while waiting for my interview to begin. I sat in a small conference room off of the lobby to fill out the application. After I had finished, I was moved to another room where I interviewed remotely with an interviewer in California. I then moved back to the original room I was in and interviewed with the HR person. I never saw more than a conference room and the lobby. The company is very upfront about their policies and benefits.
In regards to the reviews about clocking in and clocking out - they do request that all employees clock in and out. The explanation I was given was they respect a home/life balance and don't want their employees working too much. They want 40 hours a week and then want their employees to go home and enjoy their lives. There is no working from home, all work is done at the office.
