Several rounds of interviews with management in corporate affairs and direct supervisors in the communications department. Interviews were conducted mainly via phone, as the company requested that interviews move ahead as scheduled despite the state of Texas suffering a natural disaster due to a freak ice storm that left most of the state (including myself and some of the interviewers) without power, internet, heat, and water for a week. Surprised that the company wouldn't grant the flexibility to move the interviews by a few days, or at least until power and internet video-conference connectivity could be restored, given the direness of the situation in the region.
