Question 1
How do you think your past work experiences translate to this role?
I applied online. I interviewed at F.A. Davis Company (Philadelphia, PA) in Sept 2025
Interview
For a job that paid very little, their process takes forever. The phone screen was scheduled about 2 weeks after I applied and I was told I’d hear back within a few days as to whether they’d want to schedule a virtual interview. That took over 2 weeks. I finally scheduled the virtual interview and realized that this may not be the opportunity I was seeking. The interview was very weird. The interviewer, a long term employee, explained the job in great detail, but she was very negative about the role and kept trying to almost talk me out of it. She was concerned I “wouldn’t have enough to do” and then she told me there was no real room for growth as spots don’t open often. The role paid so little but the company expected you to work weekends, later hours, and they even put in a PTO blackout twice a year! Even though I said I was still interested and was clearly overqualified, I never even heard back from them after that. Not even a decline. Honestly, I found them to be pretty unprofessional.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had to help a difficult customer.
Good, straightforward process. Nothing unusual. People were nice and I did not have any questions, they described the job well. I think it would be a good company to work for if I had gotten an offer.
