When I tried to clarify the day-to-day responsibilities of the role after the interview on the Whatsapp, I was told that I would only fully understand the job scope after joining. Shortly after asking for clarification, I was informed that my application would not proceed, with feedback suggesting that I had asked too many questions. From a candidate’s perspective, understanding job expectations before committing is a reasonable and important step. A lack of clarity around responsibilities, combined with inconsistent communication, made the process less transparent than expected. I would recommend future candidates ensure that role expectations are clearly communicated upfront to avoid misalignment.
