Applied online back in October 2023, it took almost a month for them to get back to me. First had to complete a virtual assessment. This was a quick question and answer assessment, followed by a role play. After that, I attended a face to face interview. It was a simple interview however on the application they asked for my references upfront (I thought that was very strange). During the interview one panel member asked if she could contract my current employer for a reference (no joke), I advised that would be unacceptable and could ruin my existing relationship. That was the biggest red falg and warning for me to not bother with them any further. The salary starting range was also awfully low. I got an unsuccessful email a few weeks later. It took from mid October to December for the whole interview process, which was a big waste of my time and a massive rigamarole, just to be told "you have been unsuccessful". As a high achiever, I find the process to be to long and troublesome. However, the outcome was a blessing in disguise as after that interview I was planning to withdraw anyway. I had a very bad gut feeling that it would be a negative working environment.
Far too many red flags.
