This was by far the strangest interview process I've ever experienced. The person interviewing me an entry level HR associate - I know this because she told me. She could not answer any of my questions about the job listing, what the job would entail, or what my day-to-day responsibilities would be. She kept citing that it was all too technical and I would have to speak to the hiring manager instead. She did ask me a canned list of questions that seemed to be pulled directly off the internet. Questions included: - Where do you see yourself in 5 years? - Tell me one personal, and one professional goal? - How did you recently handle a stressful situation? The above is just a sample, I probably answered about 25 of these questions before we even came to discussing the job opening. I felt like I was on a first date, not a job interview - it was very strange! When it was finally time for me to ask my questions, she could not answer them. I felt like it was a huge waste of time - it took over an hour and I didn't learn anything new about whether or not I would be a good fit. She also put herself on mute every time I answered a question and I had the feeling other people were in the room listening to my responses - creepy! When I asked her questions about their HR policies, specifically some qualms that Glassdoor reviewers had raised, she became somewhat defensive. I left the conversation frustrated and not wanting to work for the company. I am not disappointed I didn't get this job.

I was asked a series of silly questions that had nothing to do with what I'd bring to the table. I spent more time answering questions from a person who had no connection with me at all. It was like taking a survey at the mall.
