Honestly just weird. I had practiced answers for the inevitable "why do you want this job" question using phrases that were verbatim from the job listing, only to be told that the job does not involve those things. Then told explicitly that, contrary to the description, the job was incredibly rote, downright boring, with very little individual autonomy. Then asked how I would influence the company's culture as a whole - something that, from what they were saying, someone in that role would have no ability to do. I don't think I hid my confusion well.
