Step 1: Recruiter screening (30 minutes) Step 2: Hiring manager interview (45 minutes) During step 1, the recruiter expressed their excitement and moved me along to step 2. Step 2 went well, the interviewer was friendly and professional and asked several pertinent questions, as well as some challenging questions that perhaps do not apply to the traditional scope of this role. Overall it was a respectful and civil encounter. However, I never heard back. Even after sending a thank-you to the recruiter to pass along to the hiring manager, neither party bothered to give me any kind of response. Overall, that's an indication that the company doesn't respect the time and effort of their candidates. I would hope that the company receives this feedback and works on adjusting their interview process to uphold standard courtesy and respect toward their prospective employees.
