I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Federal-Mogul (Southfield, MI) in Apr 2018
Interview
Applied online. Received a phone call and set up an interview within a week. The interview was with 3 managers. Each interview lasting 30 minutes. The questions were easy. Mostly they just wanted to know about your past experience. Finished the interview. The hiring manager sent me an email later that night saying how impressed they were, and that they would like to set up the second round of interviews next week. Second round of interviews was again with 2 manager and a VP. Each interview lasted 30 minutes. Same questions as the first round. Just wanted to know about past experience. Once the interview was over, the hiring manager stated you should hear something in the next week.
This is where things went negative. One week pass. No updates. Two weeks pass no updates. I sent a follow up email to the hiring manager seeing if there was any updates. He did not respond back. Three weeks pass no updates. I sent the hiring manager a second follow up email asking how the process is going. Again the hiring manager ignored my emails and did not respond back. This is extremely unprofessional. Any status about the position being filled, or they are looking at other candidates would be fine. But to completely ignore someone and just leave them not knowing what is going on is terrible etiquette. I have read the past interview summaries. This company seems to have a habit of just ignoring people. Not my type of company to work for if this is how your gonna be treated.
