      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Ferguson (Pompano Beach, FL) in Apr 2012

      Interview

First I had a one on one interview at UCF. They asked basic questions like why you want to work at Ferguson and what sales experience I had. Then there was a phone interview with the regional recruiter. Pretty much the same basic questions. The last part of the process was a warehouse visit. They paid for my gas to travel to Pompano beach. I met with about 5 different people. They all just kind of tried to get to know me. They basicly all told me why they liked Furguson and asked me if I had any questions. I guess they didn't like me too much becuase for whatever reason they did not select me.

      Interview

Submitted video interview on their website. Very Easy to do and you can record your responses several times. Got an email a couple days after requesting a time for a phone interview. Phone interview was fairly easy but awkward at times.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through university. I interviewed at Ferguson (Minneapolis, MN) in Mar 2015

      Interview

      1. They ask you to do an online recorded interview. You record yourself answering basic questions like "why do you feel you are a good fit for Ferguson" and others along those lines. 2. The next round is a phone interview with one of the recruiters and that conversation determines whether or not you will move on to the 3rd round. Nothing crazy, very casual conversation. 3. If you get to the final step, they fly you out to a centralized Ferguson location based on your region (East, Central, West) with 30-40 other candidates. The first day is meant to familiarize you with the company and its culture. They wine you and dine you and give you an opportunity to get to know some of the employees. The second day is a 4 hour interview process. They set you up with 3 district managers from the 3 locations you select that you are interested in.
