Unfortunately, the other reviews are correct — they do ghost you. There was a 20 minute phone screening interview, followed up by an interview with the team’s lead, and lastly an interview with the broader team.
The people I spoke with were kind and asked thorough questions. The whole process took about 2-3 weeks. I was told by the recruiter that the feedback was positive and I would hear back soon regarding my interview, but I heard nothing. So, I followed up and still have not hear back. It’s been a few weeks and I haven’t heard from anyone.
I understand that people are busy, but ghosting a candidate who made it that far in the interview process is not a good look. How you treat prospective candidates is reflective of how you’ll treat an employee.
It’s actually really demoralizing to do the prep work for an interview and get nothing back from the company. Please do not waste a candidate’s time if you don’t intend on following up with them.
If you decide to interview with them, be cautious and keep your hopes low.
