The initial phone interviewers were a little excessive as within the hour of the initial phone interview another individual called basically asking the same questions, before setting up an in person interview.
The in person interview was absolutley appalling. She was not only rude, but discriminating against age and religion. I had to reschedule the interview (with agreement and much time in advance to notify if we could not reschedule).
First thing she asked was "why did you reschedule?" Which to me, was a bit personal . But I answered honestly . I had a previous engagement regarding my religion (islam) that I had forgotten about and had to reschedule. She was extremely ignorant about it saying "excuse me if I sound ignorant against your religion but I'm Christian and we have set times for these things" . She continued to make more judgement because of my age and because I "look like I am a part of the generation who is constantly on their phone" would I understand when to put it away? I continued to explain I'm a responsible adult and that I understand when it is an appropriate time and when it is not , to use my phone. She also continued to tell me how redundant and boring the position was and how bored I would be majority of the time .
Over all this interview and the person who interviewed me was terrible and she should not be the representative for this company. Especially in the hiring process. It made me realize I would never want to work for a company so discriminating or who would hire someone so discriminating.
