Financial Partners Credit Union interview questions

I had a phone screening followed by a Zoom secondary interview with 2 team members. They explained how they've lost much of their team, recently, and were rebuilding with one of them being the new manager and another recently promoted to security analyst. It seemed they were impressed by my experience and asked about a lot of the previous work I did and for ideas on how to perform certain tasks, etc. that were related to the interviewing position's job function. After the interview, the manager reached out regarding my availability to work in-person and I said "yes" to which I received no reply. I reached out 2 more times over the next 3 weeks for updates and have yet to hear a reply. I feel that the manager was more or less probing for ideas for projects/how to run his new team and never intended to hire for the position.

The HR Dept that does the hiring needs to get it together. It's been months and I still haven't heard nothing. I guess they don't need people that bad if they aint calling people back.
