The recruiter called me, asked a few basic questions, made it very clear that even though the job description said that they were open to hiring remote that they almost certainly wouldn't hire me because I would be remote (something they knew from the beginning, considering I live on the opposite side of the country). Then they ghosted me. Haven't even gotten an automated rejection. What a waste of my time, and an overall rude way to treat people.
