I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at FirstService Residential (Miami, FL) in Feb 2011
Interview
I applied online, which was kind of tedious. You'd think that a company this size would have a more intuitive online application process. They called me in to take an in house test to evaluate my skills. While I was there I had to wait for what seemed like forever. Office was pretty busy and didn't seem very professional.Test was pretty basic. After test I had to wait again to meet with someone who eventually told me that all they had available was something too far out of my way for very little money. I respectfully declined.
I completed their full interview process — screening followed by what was supposed to be an in-person interview with the director. However, when I arrived, the interview was actually conducted by two managers instead, and this change was never communicated to me. Despite the unexpected switch, the interview went well. What’s unacceptable is the complete lack of follow-up. It has now been weeks with no response, no update, no rejection email — nothing. After spending time preparing, traveling to their office, and interviewing in person, the fact that they couldn’t send a basic courtesy email shows a serious lack of professionalism and respect for candidates.

Interview
Brief phone call followed by in-person interview. Manager really just wants to make sure you’re competent. Questions involve how you deal with difficult customers as the position is very customer-service based. Best if you have a background in hospitality.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you handle a homeowner who came into the office angrily and complaining about something like the landscaping provider.
I applied online. I interviewed at FirstService Residential (Sunny Isles Beach, FL) in Mar 2021
Interview
First interview lasted 2 hours because I spoke with the property manager , spent an hour interviewing- then I toured the property for 20 mins while awaiting a meeting/interview with the president of the board of association. Second interview was a few days later and last 20 mins and included the property manager, president of the board and a second board member. Currently waiting for a call back.
