I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Fishbowl Marketing (Alexandria, VA) in Jul 2014
Interview
It started off simply enough with a recruiter interview, a phone interview, and a 1:1 with the team leader. Everything seemed to be running smoothly, they made me an offer the next day, and I accepted.
Fast forward to a week later. The head of HR calls me to inform me that they've rescinded my offer due to the fact that I attempted to negotiate a salary. Keep in mind that their offer was below the industry standard for the area, I had another, much higher offer, and was just ensuring that I did my best in advocating for myself.
Fishbowl did not appreciate this. After misrepresenting my education and experience to me (they told me I had a college degree and one year experience when, in fact, I have 2 masters from major public universities and had, at the time, 3 years support experience), they told me I should be grateful for my unliveably low offer and that I'd "disappointed them and couldn't be trusted."
Needless to say, I put them in contact with my lawyer.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fishbowl Marketing (Alexandria, VA) in Oct 2016
Interview
Very Typical, first you get the get to know you questions. There was a worksheet packet that quizzed you on some skillsets and technical skillsets. More about knowing how you think then getting the right answers.

I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Fishbowl Marketing (Alexandria, VA) in Jul 2016
Interview
It was decent and straight to the point. Felt like there were there asking serious questions. Interviews last a good while and they give you time to ask serious questions.
