I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (London, England)
Interview
Good process, quite lengthy, but no responses for a while. Quite detailed, good interviews, but very slow to give responses. All in all, simple. Asks you about values, the company itself.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Motivation, experience, your skills and what made you apply
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Camas, WA) in Feb 2024
Interview
Phone interview screening, then video. Salary non negotiable and fairly low for the market. The phone interview is done by a very low level employee. Seems very corporate but I hear it’s a good place to work.
I applied online. I interviewed at Fisher Investments in May 2021
Interview
Starts with 15-30 minute phone interview with a recruiter.
After the phone call we coordinated an interview with the manager of the team and a person much higher in the company.
The next interview was a video interview schedule for 1.5 hours (45 minutes back to back). They asked a lot about my experience, why I was interested in the company, and generally tried to figure out what made me tick. They were trying to understand "fit" at the company and in the role. They were very friendly and made sure to leave time to answer questions and give me the needed information about the role.
I was told they usually try to wrap up these processes in 2 weeks. After the interview, I received an invitation to fill out their application and participate in a background check.
A couple of days later the original recruiter arranged for a phone call with the manager of the team and I received a conditional offer pending background results. The manager went over the comp, benefits, etc.
