I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (San Mateo, CA) in Jan 2013
Interview
Submitted resume, received a phone call for an interview that lasted 30 minutes. Called back a week later for on site interview. Interviewer was friendly. None of the questions were technical. Very typical interview questions actually: walk my through your resume, greatest strength/weakness, something you are proud of etc. Company seemed organized to me during process.

Question 1
Basic shoot yourself, i.e. What is your biggest weakness?
Similar to most other interviews, very basic questions testing fit and values. Multiple rounds, but mostly wanted to learn more about you and why you wanted to work for Fisher.
It was clear and easy. The people were very friendly and they made sure to aska range of questions. There were 3 rounds I believe. The first two were more in depth to gauge character
I applied online. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Plano, TX) in May 2026
Interview
Three rounds of interviews. The first one was on zoom. Second one was on site with a tour of the property. Final was on zoom again. Final interview was definitely the most difficult. At the end of the final interview I was told the hiring managers were going to review candidates and that I would hear from them by the end of the week. I never heard from them again. Very strange. Thought after 3 rounds of interviews they would at least reach out to tell me no.
