The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Fisher Investments
Interview
You interview with three different people for three different positions. They really grill you. Constantly ask you what are your weakness and failures. I understand they want to see what kind of person you are under pressure, but when the interview only consists of asking you those questions, it gets depressing and you feel worthless. Ask and then move on to other better questions where you actually get to know the person!! Also the pay is horrible!! 50hrs for 50k? It’s basically 19/hr pay your employees more if you expect them to work that long per week.
The interview process was long and involved multiple steps, starting with an initial phone screening to assess basic qualifications. This was followed by a technical assessment and two rounds of in-depth interviews, including a panel discussion with senior team members. After several weeks and a final interview with the hiring manager, the process concluded with reference checks before an offer was finally extended
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is one challenge you had to overcome, how did it change you?
It was a phone interview and the lady was nice, it took about 30 min and she just asked basic behavioral questions and questions about my work experience and what kind of companies I had applied for
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Tampa, FL) in Feb 2025
Interview
Good, quick, usual situational questions. Nothing out of the ordinary from them. Lasted about 45 minutes. Unsure if I was on the last interview or not but thought it was well operated.
