I applied through a third party site and was contacted by email, two days later, to set up an initial phone interview with recruiting.
Phone Interview: Standard phone interview with recruiting, which was pleasant. A few of the standard behavioral based questions. The interviewer sounded very positive and I could see where she would be able to put people at ease quickly if needed.
The next stage was an in person interview at the rental site. This was set up through recruiting, a few days after the phone interview, and they were fairly flexible with scheduling. I was emailed a confirmation and asked to please complete attached application and paperwork prior to arrival.
In Person Interview: This was a panel interview that entailed answering many questions. Many of the questions were behavioral based; however the overall interview was very conversational. The panel was very open and honest regarding past difficulties with the company, which I appreciated after researching the company. They also did a great job laying out the future vision for FlightCar and where the company has made changes to overcome the past problems.
The offer came within 48 hours of the in person interview from recruiting. There was some slight back and forth regarding compensation but that was resolved with 24 hours of receiving the initial offer.
