I was referred, 3 weeks later passed through to a junior recruiter 2 weeks after that rejected and had a call with head of department for feedback, Im quite confident I only got this luxury because I was a referral.
Overall they were actually a very nice bunch especially the junior recruiter who was particularly warm and I very much appreciated the honest candor from the Head of department, not sure 5 weeks is an acceptable amount of time for 1 stage and a rejection. I find a lot of recruiters use the "im busy" excuse for this, Personally I dont think that washes with many people anymore. Shouldnt complain, as in comparison to other TA Manager role I have applied to this was streets ahead in terms of process, many companies very lazily dont even let you know your rejected, which can be automated so there is absolutely no excuse.
