I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Focused Staffing (Campbell, CA)
Interview
Less formal than I expected. They focused on determining personal drive and ambition. They didn't seem to mind that I didn't have prior recruiting experience. They said they train all of their recruiters from scratch. They also laid out all the pros and cons of the job - there are a number of cons in a commission based job so I was glad they were upfront about it.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Focused Staffing (Monmouth Junction, NJ) in Oct 2016
Interview
A recruiter contacted me about a role with Veritas through LinkedIn. After an email exchange, we scheduled an initial phone screen. After having had the screen, I was asked to supply supporting materials related to marketing assets I had created. After sending the info, I didn't hear anything back, until I got sent another email that was a copycat from the first one this particular recruiter sent. I politely pointed out that we had already had a call, and asked about the status of my application. To which I heard nothing ever since.... There was a certain lack of professionalism that I found a bit irritating.
