Nice Interview process. Tested all skills in classical ML, Deep ML and unsupervised ML. Also involved DSA questions. 5 rounds were conducted in total. Last round was simple and involved generic questions.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at FogHorn Systems (New York, NY) in Oct 2019
Interview
The hiring person joined super late for the interview. The audio on their side was terrible. Worst part is no data was given to work on the problem.
"Many times based on client requirements a candidate may have to investigate an algorithm new to them. They need to understand the implications of various parameters on how the algorithm is trained. I will spend 10-15 min educating the candidate on the algorithm, answering questions with no penalty (not expecting they know these details). I can "role play" the client, documentation, the data (if you want to run any trials). I will then ask 2 questions about the material I just covered. Outside information is not needed."
they say it just take 5 to 15 minutes to answer 2 questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The person gave a small introduction to decision tree. And told if I prune it further will the points overlap.
No data was given.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at FogHorn Systems (Mountain View, CA) in May 2016
Interview
I got in touch with a recruiting agency. they setup first Intro call then one technical interview on phone then went for on-site interview that last for 4-5 hours with 4-5 programming and technical rounds. The programming question were average.
