Interview
The business uses a psychometric test, which shouldn't be a part of any welcoming working environment. They also didn't mention there would be one on the job spec.
The owners also expect fully in-office all year round, which isn't a good way to get great work out of writers (a noisy office every day of the week?). The on-site rule is during a major cost of living crisis, but the lack of hybrid generally promotes a poor work-life balance.
Alongside interviews for this I had ones for roles that were fully remote, a 4 day working week, and hybrid. This should be industry standard.

Interview
Had to take a personality/logic test before being asked into interview. This interview was around an hour long, but the communication around it was really really poor.
I wasn't told who would meet me on arrival at the face to face interview, when I arrived at the office I had to sit there and wait for someone to come and find me. And it's been two months since the interview and I'm still yet to hear from the company about the outcome (I've obviously not been successful, but that's really really poor communication)

Question 1
Would you be willing to work in the office five days a week?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at For Everyone Group
Interview
The first interview was fine, it lasted about 45 minutes and I was asked basic questions and told about the company - carried out by HR. I was told the process would take around a week depending on other applicants. Following this I was asked to take a test - maths, inductive and deductive reasoning. Following this I was asked to take another test. Following this I was invited to attend another call which was an hour long (to go over my test score). At this point it had been a month and communication was poor. I was told I’d hear something by the end of the week, this deadline passed and I had to reach out myself. I didn’t receive a response straight away and when I did I received no feedback at all. The company definitely needs to be more honest and realistic regarding the time scale of the process and also would be good to be provided with feedback when you’ve attended two calls and taken two tests.
