I’ve applied for four web developer roles at Forge Holiday Group (formerly Sykes) between 2018 and 2025, ranging from junior to senior levels. Each time, I took part in multi-stage interviews, dedicating a significant amount of time and effort to the process.
Unfortunately, the experience has been consistently frustrating. Communication between stages often felt disjointed — I was asked similar or repeated questions across interviews, suggesting a lack of internal coordination. After each process, I received the same generic rejection email, with no feedback provided despite the time invested.
I completely understand that not every candidate will be successful. But after four interviews over several years, it’s disheartening to never receive even a sentence of constructive feedback. It leaves the impression that once you’re no longer in consideration, you’re simply dropped from the process.
I hope the company will consider improving how it engages with candidates — especially those who invest time across multiple applications. A small effort toward more personalised communication could go a long way.
