I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Formlabs (Somerville, MA) in Mar 2022
Interview
The interview process was smooth, everything was well laid out in terms of process and next steps. My complain is that during my first phone round with the recruiter, I told about my salary expectations and during the next 3 rounds the recruiter confirmed with me every single time to ensure they we were both aligned.
When I finally got the offer letter, I was offered way less than we agreed up on (or at least what I thought that we agreed up on especially after confirming with the recruiter THREE TIMES). Total waste of 4 weeks. Would have been nicer if Formlabs could either set right salary expectations with the candidate from day 1 without wasting everyones time.
The other reviews about low salary is very true. When they did offer me what they offered me, the first few minutes I thought it was a joke.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
First round- phone screen with the recruiter to ensure your background aligns with the job
Second round- 45 minutes interview with the hiring manager. Not too technical, mostly focused on behavioral questions (scenario based)
Third round- onsite. First 45 minutes with 2 team members. Again not technical and mostly focused on scenario based and behavioral style. Then 45 minutes lunch with other team members (very informal and casual). The last 45 minutes was with the COO. Similar question about past experience, some what technical but mainly scenario based.
