Very pleasant interview process in the beginning. I feel that my skills were/are aligned with the duties of a Risk Operations Associate with Found. Made it to the second round of the interview process, where I spoke with the hiring manager. We had a great and informative conversation where I was told what to expect in the third round. The hiring manager and I even worked for the same employer at different times. Unfortunately, that's where my positive experience ended.
I was told that I would be contacted in a week and "not to worry" if I didn't hear anything. I was very interested in the position after learning more about the culture of the company and being told that "I sound like I'd be a good fit". So after not hearing anything for a week, I reached out to the HR rep who contacted me initially for an update and was told I was no longer being considered, which honestly surprised me, considering how great the conversation was with the hiring manager.
I have over 20 years of customer service experience, 6 of which are in the finance industry and 3 are in risk. The job posting lists 2+ years of experience as a requirement. The email response from HR was very cold in my opinion, which was a very hard 180 from how the process started initially.
