Foundation Building Materials interview questions

Arrived early and was led into a conference room by reception and she said she'd let them know I was waiting. Waited in there for 20 minutes and began emailing the contact to make sure she was aware I was there. She came down and went through some preliminary questions. Then I went through the actual interview with the individual I'd be reporting to (who was running late) and shared some previous examples. We ended early and he rushed off as I was saying goodbye. I was told they would follow-up, but never heard from them again.

Seems like they have a policy to interview external candidates even though they have an internal or known candidate they already decided to promote/hire. HR intervirew first followed by hiring manager interview. HR manager didn't seem to know much about the role and was short in answering questions.
