I was contacted via email to do a video call screen. It was the first interview of this kind I have done. This company is remote and conducts most of its meetings this way. At the end of that call I was told that the next step would be for me to complete a project. My project involved tasks frequently assigned to this position.
After project review, I was invited to an in-person interview with the Operations Team. They had a list of questions to ask me, but did so in an organic way, and I felt like I got to know the personalities on the team during this step. I came with a list as well and the team answered all of my questions answered in turn.
The third and final interview was a video call with team members from several different areas of the company. It was relatively casual yet informative. They each asked me a question and I asked them a few as well. Altogether, the process lasted about a 4-5 weeks (one key player was out of town for part of this time), but I was given clear notifications of what the next steps were and when they would occur, and each phase was very helpful for my understanding of the company and the open position!
