Interview
Applied through an agency who sent me a long application form to fill in. After this I heard back in about two weeks that I had a phone interview, which lasted quite a long time and involved technical bioprocess questions and competency/behavioural questions after.
A few weeks later I was invited to a formal interview at the site, this included a site tour with a scientist and a panel interview with 3 members of staff (head of department, two senior scientist). Again this involved similar but different technical questions and some competency questions as well.

Was really good, friendly environment. Interviewers made me feel very at ease and reduced any form of anxiety. There were 3 sessions for my interview an initial group exercise with all applicants, the actual interview and a site tour.

Interview
Very robust, has multiple sections including a technical interview and competency interview. Mine was conducted over zoom and the two interviewers who were both very nice and welcoming. Even when I messed up on a question they assured me which allowed me to get back on track. I recommend being over prepared as the interview was quite long so you need to have plenty to discuss.
