- 1 Interview to validate English speaking and communication.
- 1 Code challenge with screen recording to validate skills that had broken boilerplate code. To get the full score, including unit tests, fixing the boilerplate and creating unit tests within 1h was impossible. I spent 1h40m to complete it, but after 1h, you get penalties in your score even with high-quality code. I complained about it, and they gave me a second attempt without fixing the boilerplate code, so I got almost the same result. They didn't care about it, and I can guarantee that it was impossible to do the challenge and fix the boilerplate within 1 hour to avoid penalties.
- 1 Interview with people working with the client, but no one had details about the project I was going to work on, only a brief idea about it, so it was very superficial.
- They sent me an offer anyway, and I signed the offer. The same day later, they wanted to talk to me, but I couldn't. The next day, he said the position no longer existed, and the client gave up on finding someone else.
* Before the job offer was sent, they tried to decrease the salary, which was already low considering the size of the company and the portion of the job market in the US and Canada. The client for the position that was interviewed was based in the US.
