This interview experience, and process was horrible. I was contacted by a recruiter regarding a position as a Sr. Lifecycle Operations Engineer. We set up a phone interview with the hiring manager. Week later, scheduled a face, to face. Two days later, received email stating interview was cancelled. Recruiter emailed me, month later to schedule an interview. Day of interview, hiring manager was 40 minutes late arriving to site. After arrival, interview took place 30 minutes later. His new, “director” sat in on the interview. Which was fine. The hiring manager was very unprofessional, abrasive, and nonchalant. I think he was trying to impress his new director, either way not good experience at all. When speaking with HR rep, during second portion of interview, she didn’t sound enthusiastic. Also, she stated the company was going through a lot of changes, and hopefully things would get better. Third stage of interview, met with team member. He was preoccupied working trouble tickets during the interview. No one asked about my qualifications, experience. It was horrible. Sent an email follow up to recruiter. No response.
